Along the Network on This Most Historic day:
Below is a message from a very good friend of mine who is looking for a site
for his son's Senior Prom. They are concerned that the one they booked will
fall through and want to line up another more definite one ASAP.
Anyone out there have any thoughts and/or connections?
Thanks.
Joel

Dear Joel,
My son's high school, The Wheatley School in Old Westbury is having
their Senior Prom on June 4th. It is tentatively scheduled to be held at
The Rainbow Room, however as I am sure you know, the Cipriani family who
runs the place seems to be having lots of problems. The school is looking
for an alternate place. I think an ideal place would be some sort of
finished warehouse space suitable to host a party with a somewhat festive
air. There should be around 250-275 kids and obviously no alcohol would be
served.
I was thinking that the Seaport area might have some good spots.
Anyway, please ask around about some alternatives if you would. Thanks, MS
