I have a friend who is seeking a position in the non-profit sector
involving development and/or communications.
Relevant communications experience includes event planning, alerting local
and national media about upcoming events and fundraisers, drafting press
releases, media pitches, and attending/reporting advocacy events and city
council hearings. Development experience includes writing articles for
monthly publications, including volunteer profiles, and conducting
extensive interviews of prospective volunteers. Any leads would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you in advance.
