Gotham Attorneys:
Gotham Magic needed...
My friend Eric is a systems engineer who was employed by a technology
firm in Connecticut-and terminated last week- He believes he may have a
case to sue - or to push for an extended severance settlement.
Please see the below note for detail. He has just closed on a home -
and is somewhat strapped for cash.
If any Gothamite Lawyers can help it would be a big help to him and his
family....he can use some of our magic in this now sad Holiday Season.
Please contact Eric directly at mail6 at lorson.com
<mailto:mail6 at lorson.com> . so there is no delays in his next steps....
thanks!

Subject: [Fwd: Request for Consultation]
I just found out today that my employer of approximately one and a half
years is firing me effective immediately for a " performance "
problem.
The time period during which they claim my performance was poor is very
short, about 2 months, and is exactly during the time when I was having
surgery on both hands for carpal tunnel syndrome. My employer knew about
my condition, and I informed them in advance of the surgeries and the
necessary recovery. Despite this, I received no indication that there
was any problem with my work until the second surgery was completed and
I was just coming back to work full-time.
They claim it is for poor work performance, but in the entire time I've
been there I have not had any negative review with any of the people I
was working for, and I was given no official warning or reprimand for
the alleged poor performance that is causing my termination. I believe
that I have a very strong case for wrongful termination, and I would
like to seek damages for lost wages equivalent to 5 years lost wages and
benefits. My base pay is $112,000/yr, and my position is Technical
Architect. I believe that they were looking for a reason to fire me
and had no justifiable reason for doing so.
Thank you,
