I'd recommend that everyone intending to participate (a) sign up via the
Evite, and (b) secure their bottles ASAP, either through Paul and me or your
local wine shop (if they have it available), so that you don't have a mad
dash scramble at the 11th hour.  (I have bottle #1, and Paul has bottles #2
and 3 - we ended up buying enough for everyone, and are providing it at
cost.)

Join us for Gotham's second online wine event, "Wine Tasting 201," presented
by pseudo-sommeliers Paul Napolitano and David Abeshouse, both long-time
Gotham members.  The event will take place on Thursday, April 14, from 6 -
7:15 p.m. (no charge other than for the wine you purchase, in advance).     

This will be a fun, educational, and interactive discussion and tasting of
up to 3 different bottles of red wines.  Buy any or all 3 bottles in
advance, and join the conversation, Gotham-style.  Last year's WT 101 event
featured 4 bottles all priced under $20; this year's WT 201 focuses on 3
bottles priced between $30 - $40.     

In no particular order, the 3 red wines that will be tasted and discussed
are:   

1. 2011 Montecillo Rioja Gran Reserva (Spain; $32)  

2. 2013 Nerento Chianti Classico Riserva, Villa Trasqua (Italy; $35)  

3. 2018 Tardieu-Laurent Rasteau, Vieilles Vignes (Rhone/France; $35)  

Bring your corkscrew and glass, and get ready for a viniferous good time!   

Limited to the first 16 participants/couples - we seek to have no more than
16 boxes on the Zoom screen, including Paul and David (2 boxes).   Please
register only if you do intend to attend.  

You are welcome to acquire the bottles on your own, or purchase them at cost
from Paul or David, who have a limited supply of these bottles available for
pickup - first come, first served.
