Good morning Gothamites - I serve as Board Chair to Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow (www.obtjobs.org<http://www.obtjobs.org>).  One of our most promising programs is in in IT support, and we'll have approximately 400 students (formerly disconnected young adults) raring to go this year, seeking IT certifications that will lead to either living wage jobs or college.  OBT programming is nearly underway (Cloud Support started 2 weeks ago), and one of the key areas we are preparing for is student technology needs.  I am reaching out because we could use support in obtaining new or refurbished laptops.

As you can imagine, there are issues with supply in NYC.  We anticipate about 50% of our students needing tech support this year.  We have previously received donations from some corporate partners of laptops they would be otherwise discarding.
