[Fredslist] Do you think your building should be rated for Energy Efficiency? What issues could that raise?

*On Thursday June 15, Daniel Spiegel-Feld, adjunct Professor  will
discuss this and related issues at the Gotham Green meeting.  Does
such a practice effect Real Estate values?  What would it do for
rents?  How would landlords feel and on the other hand how would
tenants fare with such a practice instituted?  Please come and share
your points of view on these subjects with others and learn some of
the current trends in energy efficiency and about the environmental
progress from her point of view. *

Here is a brief bio for Danielle.  She has a broad range of experience.

Danielle is the Executive Director at the Guarini Center where her
research focuses on domestic and international sustainable energy law
and policy. She is also an adjunct professor scheduled to teach a new
course on urban environmental law with Professor Katrina Wyman
starting in Fall 2018. Previously, she served as a research fellow in
Climate Change and the Law at the University of Copenhagen’s Faculty
of Law where she studied interactions between international trade law
and domestic environmental policy. While in Copenhagen, Danielle
lectured in courses on international energy law, international
environmental law, and the law of the World Trade Organization.
Danielle has written widely on topics in environmental and energy law
and policy such as electricity regulation, biofuels policy and
groundwater conservation. Danielle received her J.D. from NYU and her
B.A., *summa cum laude*, from the University of Pennsylvania. She is
admitted to practice law in New York State.
