Dear Gotham,


After suffering through the DEBATE and its aftermath, it was refreshing to see the Beatles circa 1961-5
close up on the Big Screen last night.  They were an amazing live band before they hit the big stadium
craziness.  The voices, the playing and the shaking heads along with the crazed audiences were fantastic.  Can't remember smiling so much as I watched anything since seeing Book of Mormon or the best movie comedies.


If you are older than late 50's or love the Beatles, you will have a great musical and societal experience.
Times have changed, but inevitably, the Media and the Public have always taken their toll on success.

PS In theaters, they are showing the 30 minute Shea performance cleaned up digitally so it is audible.
