[Fredslist] How does one go about finding a place to be buried?

This is a serious question. My parents found their burial place on the border of LI and Queens through a "lodge" my grandfather belonged to. I never thought of the subject until recently when someone made a joke about not knowing where they will be buried. I know many of you think cremation is the answer, but my husband and I are not convinced.

Any ideas or websites/links to suggest?

Thanks in advance,

RS
