Dear Gothamites,



It is with great pleasure that I inform you of my son Ted's involvement with JACKIE ROBINSON, a very important PBS documentary, scheduled for Ch 13 this Monday and Tuesday at 9 PM.
Ted was the co-editor of episode 1 and was the assistant editor on episode 2 under the direction of Ken Burns.
Jackie's story goes much broader than baseball.   He was a major figure in the Civil Rights struggle in the Armed Forces, Business, and Politics as well as Sports.  The film also
depicts a beautiful love story between Jackie and his wife, Rachel.  The scenes of President Obama and Michelle talking about that relationship are wonderful.


I hope you enjoy it and please let everyone know that it will also be available on the PBS website for those who don't have cable packages.
