You never know where a lead can come from.  I got a call today from a source that provides many business opportunities for me. He was looking for a PR firm with heavy emphasis on healthcare.
Gotham has five people listed in public relations as members.  Here is what I found...

One doesn't have a picture and really isn't a PR firm.  A second doesn't have an up-to-date and correct telephone number so I couldn't find that person.
Two weren't clear about what areas of PR they specialize requiring me to have to inquire further.   The one that got the lead was someone I had met at Gotham before and had an easy, clear, and completed member profile to make the connection. I called to confirm the specific background I was looking for and it was a perfect match.  He got the lead and a virtual intro was made in a matter of minutes.

Gotham update your member profile please.  Make sure you have correct information listed.  Make it easy for a Gotham member to connect with you and then connect opportunities to and for you. Make sure you have a picture.
Believe me I give many times more leads than I ever receive.  But at very least don't make it harder for me to give them either.  Hot leads are exactly that.... HOT. They need to be responded to quickly.  For the other 4.... Sorry.
