When I lead the Queens Civic Congress, it co-hosted this great nice event.  

If you have some free time on Saturday, March 23, checking out Going Green in Queens." 
It takes place at the Al Oerter Recreation Center, 131-40 Fowler Ave, Flushing NY, from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 
There is plenty of free parking just west of the Center.

The event includes:
Free admission,
Free food and giveaways
Workshops on "green" topics (starting at 11)
CPR demonstration
Films with ecological themes 
Event flyer is attached.
