Dear Gotham Community,

 

Regardless of your political position about today's breaking news of DOMA
being struck down and allowing the lower court in California ruling to stand
on Proposition 8, we in the LGBTQ Group, are thankful for our fellow Gotham
members who have always welcomed us within your midst - whether we are in
the LGBTQ Group or spread among you in other groups.  

 

These decisions will have enormous impact on the LGBTQ Community, and we
just want to acknowledge those of you in the Gotham Community who have stood
by us through the years.

 

I can't help but think that Harvey Milk - in whatever form or manifestation
in the universe he is now in - has a smile on his face!
