As most of you know, each year, throughout the sailing season, I offer an opportunity
to network in a unique environment, Sailing on the Long Island Sound. It's an incredible
experience and wonderful opportunity to meet new people.

There is no charge for this network, you don't have to join a group, and you are not required
to do a thing. Just let me know when you're coming and I will hold your spot. We have the snacks,
sandwiches, and refreshments on board.  I have been told by some that people are uncomfortable
not knowing if and what to bring, so in lieu of  packing for snacking .....

This year, some of us regulars thought it would be a great idea to give our support to an organization
that is in need of our help. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This foundation is the
largest private funder of suicide research in the United States. AFSP funds research, education,
advocacy, and survivor programs.

The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is one of the funding programs AFSP uses to support
the mission to prevent loss of life from suicide.

Our walk team "SAILORS FOR LIFE" welcomes your support of AFSP in any manner big or small.

Sailing season is into its second half, so if you haven't had the chance to enjoy this unique network
experience let me know and I will reserve your spot, and if at all possible, please help support this
vital organization. Whether you sail or not, together we can all help save lives and be.
