[Fredslist] AARP Medicare prescription plans - significant cost increase

Working through the Medicare prescription plans I had come across the
information that can be costly to anyone who is presently on either PDP
plans. 

 

For next year AARP divided their generic formulary to preferred and
non-preferred generic.  Co-pays are increasing from $4.50 to $7-$42 for
those of non-preferred generic drugs.

 

I can email anyone who is interested checking out the 2012 AAPR plan
formulary.  Please specify if you need the Preferred or Enhanced one.
