Hear hear!! (or is it "Here here!"? or "Hear here!"?) (Truth be told, I'm
completely confused by all this new lingo these computer savvy young'uns
like Gerry are using nowadays.)
Like Gerry, I and a couple friends (one of whom is an architect) and my dog
Jericho attended Joyce's fabulous tour, and we all wished it could have gone
on much longer (Well, maybe not Jericho so much, who seemed to be rather
bored except when he could bark at passing skateboarders They got his
attention for sure!)
Thanks so much, Joyce, for creating such a wonderful evening for us all.
All the best and all the rest.
Chris

Subject: [Fredslist] Joyce Gold's Walking Tour
Tonight was one of those Gotham Magical moments...new Gothamite, Joyce Gold,
who leads historical walking tours all over New York, volunteered her
services to lead several hearty Gothamites and their guests on an amazing
tour of Greenwich Village. Joyce is a walking encyclopedia of historical
facts and stories and her 1.5 hour tour literally flew by, leaving us all
wishing for another hour or two. Not even a short downpour could dampen our
spirits as we all waited for its quick end in an NYU dorm lobby, and then
completed our tour of Greenwich Village history. If you have a chance, sign
up for one of Joyce Gold's many different tours. And, on behalf of all
Gotham, thanks and welcome to Joyce who is a living, breathing example of
our Gotham motto that it is better to give than receive. Dr. Gerry Goldhaber
