Interested in learning more about Leadership?  Make plans to join us next
week on Tuesday, January 11.

 

The Leadership Council of the Long Island Women's Agenda is holding  a great
leadership training event, Developing Leaders in Your Organization" which
will be held on Tuesday evening January 11, 2011. 

 

Our speaker is Anne Marie Thigpen, Director, Adelphi Center for Non-Profit
Leadership.  She will lead the discussion and training on how organizations
can develop leaders.

And if you like to plan ahead, save the date for "The Leader in You" which
will be held on March 16, 2011 and will be led by Dr. Diane Kramer from
PeakSkills Learning Systems, who will discuss how to better develop yourself
as a leader.

Both sessions will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cold Spring Harbor
Laboratory auditorium in Woodbury.  The cost to attend is $25 for LIWA
members and $35 for non-members, $10 for students.
