[Fredslist] Statute of Limitations?

Hello,
 
Does anyone in Gotham know the NJ statute of limitations for the following situation (and, if it's not too late, a referral)? 
 
A beautiful young woman went to a certified dermatologist to get a hair removal procedure done. After signing a release waiver, they burned her face and neck to the point of scarring.  Now, several years later, she said she believed she couldn't take any action because she signed the release waiver before they began. (I think this happened in 2007.) Is there anything she can do or is it too late? Thanks.
