[Fredslist] Tribute to Jack Halpern

Dear Along the Network:

 

Had a wonderful Tuesday evening out in South Brooklyn at a salute to Jack
Halpern and some other honorees at a Gala Dinner Kick Off event for the 

Sephardic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

 

Jack is well know even outside the Gotham Tribe as being THE person to go to
when dealing with elderly people in need of care. His
www.MyElderAdvocate.com blog was cited by others at the event as the most
informative in the industry. Other Gothamites making the trek to Kings
County, were Kelly Wells, whom I had the delight of sharing my car ride
with-can't wait for the upcoming house call- Lou Camhe, George Fehling

 and Ron Fatoullah.

 

Also got to meet Jack's lovely wife, Claudia, whom I last met 38 years ago
at her older sister's wedding. I was from the groom's side.
