[Fredslist] Need Rec.- accupuncture or accupressure in NYC

I'm having a different sort of flare up from my  usual episodic severe low 
back pain, this feels like nerves are  involved, not just muscles and for 
the first time the pain has shifted and is  more concentrated in my leg, 
particularly at hip joint, knee and ankle.  Phys. therapy and pain killers not 
doing enough.  Am I right to  consider accupuncture or accupressure for this, 
does anyone know?   Advice and recommendations to good practitioners would 
be soooo  appreciated.
