[Fredslist] Seeking patient advocate/assistant

Hi Gothamites, 

A good friend of mine is dealing with a serious illness, and she is finding
it increasingly difficult to manage her medical affairs.  She is looking to
hire a patient advocate or even a personal-assistant-type person to help her
make doctor appointments, coordinate treatment schedules, investigate
insurance coverage, etc.

Does such a thing exist?  And does Gotham have any recommendations?
