Dear Rebecca,

     In the alternate you can try my simple sure-fire party pleaser the recipe.for which is::

1/2 gallon Southern Comfort Egg Nog (traditional, not Vanilla Spice)
1/2 gallon Turkey Hill or other top shelf Egg Nog Ice Cream, melted but still cold;
750 ml top-shelf, small-batch bourbon;
Stir the above ingredients together well and serve in a large punch bowl.
Sprinkle nutmeg on top just before serving.

       It's a little high in calories but, after two or three servings, you won't much care.
I call it "old factory whistle". (One good blast and you're out for the day!)

John
