Dear Gotham,
    My son-in-law, Gene Kabakov, a vice president With Deutsche Bank's Media and Telecommunications group, has been recently laid off. Gene has his MBA from Dartmouth and in the past 8 years has built a strong track record of deal execution at both the middle market and bulge bracket levels with Merrill Lynch,Robert W. Baird and Deutsche Bank.
   This industry is currently undergoing a significant down sizing and both Gene and I have no unrealistic visions of a magical quick fix. I do, however , have hope that Gotham will step forward to help our family with the proper networking , in a similar way that I try to step forward and help others.
