are all very proud of you guys. I urge all Gothamites to open their
wallets today and contribute as much as we can to this great cause.

On Sunday, November 4th, 2007, I will run my 2nd (and final) NYC
Marathon. 

I am told you can follow me (if you are so inclined) via the Internet
by logging on to www.NBCSports.com/Marathon, beginning at 9:30 a.m. on
Sunday. My entry number is 122342 and my bib number is 44217.

Yes - My Achilles Tendon is healing well, and I plan to better last
year's 5:36:48 by being under 5 hours (not Blackberrying and taking
pictures should help), and to raise over $20,000.

Last year you helped me raise over $13,000 to support Fred's Team's
and pediatric cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer
Center (in memory of Cindy Capra, another cancer victim), and I invite
you to again share the wonderful experience of raising money to fight
pediatric cancer. 

We have already passed $13,000 this year (thank you!) and some of you
have been generous enough to offer $1,000 if I can break 5 hours!
