[Fredslist] Highlights of Gotham Hispanic Meeting Today

Hola Gotham,

 

We had large turn out at our Gotham Hispanic meeting today, with 34
attendees.  In fact, we had to have the Friars break out two additional
tables to accommodate all who attended.  I want to thank our members and
circuit riders for showing all of our guests what Gotham is all about.  Hats
off to my co-chair, Laurel Skarr-Konel, who had seven guests attending
today!

 

Here’s a bit about some of our attendees today:

 

*        Gotham’s very newest member (Hispanic Group), William Alvarez,
attended ... he was approved today!  William is with Torrenegra Internet
Solutions; they provide Web development solutions and award-winning Online
creativity that help them close different gaps with their target market
while increasing sales and brand exposure.

*        Former professional tennis player Rudy Rake is a prospective member
of our Group.  Rudy is a financial advisor with Citigroup Smith Barney.

*        Many of you may have seen Hispanic Group member Leonardo Novik’s
recent fredslist posting about surplus furniture his company had for sale.
Leonardo is originally from Chile and his company produces both furniture
and fabric.  

*        Brett Harrison and his wife Yasmin both attended.  Brett is on the
board of the Hispanic Counseling Center and both Brett and Yasmin work with
non-profit, Ayuda for the Arts.  

*        Gabriella Poler-Buzali is the executive director of the
Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas.  Their next concert is on April 15th
featuring Brazil guitar duo, Joao Luiz and Douglas Lora.

*        Prospective member Jorge Guzman is the owner of F.C.R. Private Car
Service (F.C.R. stands for Fast, Courteous & Reliable).  He could be
Gotham’s go to car service!

*        Guest Jose Ortiz is the director of development for Providence
House, an organization that helps homeless, abused and formerly incarcerated
women and their children.

*        Tiberio Nascimento is a wonderful Brazilian guitarist
look for more
news about Tiberio very soon.

 

Our next meeting is on May 1st
 you many want to see what is going on with
one of the hottest group is Gotham.   So plan on riding the circuit as we’ve
waived the non-compete
and bring a guest.
