I have never used the list for this but see and hear about all the help.
Some one needs a Literary Agemt.
I was in Chicago at the American Assciation for Justice - AAJ - convention (formally American Trial Lawyers Assciation - ATLA) and met a gentleman from Ann Arbor Michigan by the name of Donnelly Wright Hadden.
Mr. Hadden practices Enviormental and Toxic Tort Law. BUT the reason for the help is that he wrote a novel While he has written professional books and journals this is his first novel and needs a literary agent.
The novel is about a Canadian gay marriage where one partner is transfered by his muti-national employer to a US which refuses to recognize his marriage. His fledging lawyer finds an obscure US-Canadian Law and sues (the 1981 treaty exists where it trumps state law) the book has legal machinations, political controversy, diplmatic crises, violence (alwas have to have that) and death.
Sounds interesting.
Mr. Hadden has only published professional books and articals and doesn't know where to turn. He self published using Xlibris but is looking to take the next step.
We spoke about Gotham and I figured why not give it a try. Well, what do you think? Can Gotham help Mr. Hadden?
Please pass info on to me and I wiill contact him.
Thank you
Keith
