Colleagues:

Our twins will be entering 11th grade shortly, and we all are interested in
learning, based on the experiences of others, which SAT prep courses are
recommended (whether offered by larger companies such as Kaplan, or private
tutors, or anything in between, or even a combination of two approaches).

My daughter is thinking about the most competitive schools, my son is
thinking about schools about a half a notch or so below on that scale, and
my wife is thinking about signing herself into a psychiatric center for the
next year and a half or so, until college acceptance notices arrive. ;^)
Your input likely will help keep her calmer, happier, and at home.

We'd appreciate responses focused more on Nassau County locales for
convenience, although we will cross county lines east or west, as far as
Manhattan, if need be. On the assumption that Gotham's magic wand will
produce substantial response, I'd be happy to gather all replies and post a
compilation for all, so please reply privately in the first instance.

Many thanks,

David Abeshouse
