Do you remember those bridesmaid dresses you were forced to buy and never
wore again but didn't want to throw out so you stuck them in the back of your
closet? Or those evening dresses, shoes and bags which have been sufficiently
amortized? Well, we have a place for those dresses which will make room in
your over-stocked closet.
The Friends of the High School for Leadership and Public Service
(Leadership) is seeking donations for the annual “Prom Closet” held at Leadership.
Senior students at Leadership have the opportunity to visit the Prom Closet and
select a dress that they'd like to wear to prom at no cost. This event has
been extremely successful in the past, and we're looking to make this year’s the
best yet! We're hoping to hold the event during the week of April 23rd.

We’re seeking donations of new and gently worn formal dresses. Please keep
in mind that these dresses will be worn by 16-18 year olds. Size 8 and up are
greatly appreciated. Additionally, donations of dress racks, hangers, new
make-up, accessories and shoes are greatly appreciated.
To schedule a donation pick-up, or drop off, please contact Meghan Lantier
at (212) 584-5481 or at _Meghan at blisspr.com_ (mailto:Meghan at blisspr.com) by
April 20th. These young women get absolutely giddy over trying on many, many
dresses. It is madness, mayhem and a lot of fun.
Thanks, as always for helping.
