Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

Establishes and develops strategy and tactics for selling to targeted key accounts and new prospects in our legal, corporate, banking, private equity and professional services clients.

Identifies and establishes relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. 

Develops a thorough understanding of IntraLinks’ services, updating service knowledge and sales presentations as technical specifications change to ensure consistency with the current marketing position. 

Researches key accounts to gain understanding of their market and industry, and to assess business opportunities. 

Presents IntraLinks’ business solutions using appropriate sales approaches and techniques, including team and/or consultative presentations and efforts. 

Working with senior management and corporate counsel, negotiates contracts and provides all follow-up to deliver signed contracts. 

Responsible for inputting and managing all information in our CRM system salesforce.com. This includes meeting info, clients contacts and monthly forecasting

Meet an agreed monthly/annual performance in both client activity (meetings/demo’s etc) and quota achievement.



Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum 5 to 7 years experience as a strategic Sales Executive/Manager preferred 

PROVEN track record of results in similar sales role required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak 

publicly to groups, and create and deliver effective, polished presentations required.

Demonstrated creativity and resourcefulness necessary.

Demonstrated ability to work with and at the senior vice president and decision-maker levels required. 

Ability to work with technical teams and personnel to overcome service delivery obstacles required.

Demonstrated ability to participate effectively as part of and within a team atmosphere required.

Proficient knowledge of and ability to work with general PC business applications required.

Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience required.
