  A friend from my investment banking days at Societe Generale who is a senior manager with a medium-sized, rapidly growing company domiciled in Pamplona, Spain has asked me to help him identify a strong candidate for a position with his company.  The company is Acciona Energia, which is a leader in renewable energy products, specializing in wind energy.

  They are looking for a CFO for their U.S. Operations.  The candidate must have had significant experience with either one of the top 3 accounting firms or been involved in project finance with an investment/commercial bank.  The candidate should have a strong accounting background (CPA) with expertise in financing/budgeting, financial modeling and personnel management experience. 
   
  The position would be based in Chicago with frequent travel to Spain.
