HIGH FLYING BOMBERS LOOK TO KEEP RUNNING

Managed by Craig Bruck, the Gotham Bombers (our own Central Park Softball League team) had a brilliant win, defeating the Hustlers, 12 to 4 in the initial outing of the season on Thursday evening, April 21.

 

After a rocky start without his usual catcher Carol Orlando, (she was struck in traffic). Fred Klein pitched the entire game. This was after Fred was hit in the head with an errant ball during warm up. 

 

Great sticks and good fielding by the 12 Gothamites team mates contributed to the win. 

 

The team was treated to beer and buffalo wings by its powerhouse third baseman, Anthony Orlando.

 

Next game is Friday April 29.
