I'll second this recommendation-I saw the exhibition yesterday and it is
breathtaking-not to be missed!!!

There's talk of a Gotham Arts?! Well, I'd like to continue support for this
wonderful idea for a new group by inviting you all to Ashes and Snow.
- Ashes and Snow is the U.S. debut of photographic works by Gregory Colbert
(spectacular considering he used no digital effects);
- ...housed in a Nomadic Museum designed by Shigeru Ban,
- ...which was constructed entirely of recycled paper and trucking
containers by my good friend Bill Goins,
- ...with technical wizardry from Gotham Hispanic candidate Randolph
Hernandez,
conveniently located on Hudson River Park's Pier 54 on West 13th st.
I visited it on opening night and thought it was breathtaking; and not just
because it was the coldest night in March. Now that Spring is here, take
