Once in a while I notice a screw or small bolt somewhere on the floor in my house. I normally pick up, stare at it and look around to see where this may fit. I look at all the surrounding furniture, appliances and mechanical stuff. Invariably it doesn't seem to go anywhere. So I put it in on top of my dresser thinking I'll eventually find what this screw is holding together. However, that never seems to happen.

I have almost 20 screws and bolts just sitting on my dresser waiting for me to find where they go and what they are holding together. I wonder if things in my house will start to fall apart but thankfully that doesn't seem to happen either.

Do I have some screws loose or does anyone else have this issue?
