The title represents just one of the tunes I enjoyed listening to during the last four days of the week that passed.  Recall my recent commentary extolling our Right to Vote?  Well, apparently many in our nation exercised that most special Right in the days preceding and on Election Day.  I rely on data to support my work and the data on voting in many parts of our country evidenced a much greater use of this special franchise.  That explains my recent celebratory mood and why I turned to the playlist I created on January 24, 2021.  Forty-one songs; it begins with What A Day by Poco and Brand New Day by Al Kooper.  I recall playing the latter repeatedly as I drove last Wednesday to lunch with a new member of the network that hosts my weekly commentary.  It also inspired a tweet.

As I drafted this I was curious which artist or band “placed” the most songs on the playlist.  The Beatles placed five tunes; Traffic placed four; Poco placed three, John Fogerty sang three — two solo, one with Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Enjoy the music on YouTube or Apple Music.

P.S. I talk about the Election at a special meeting of Gotham NY Legal, Wednesday, November 18.  Reach out to Lisa Waterman for more information.
