End of Lease

End of Lease

Its that time again. My 3 year lease ends in May so I am now spending too much time at car dealers. The process is frustrating and you always feel as if you are being taken advantage of. You haggle, negotiate and strike the best deal you can get. I know the rule of thumb is that your 3 year, 12k mile lease should be between 1 - 1.5% of the total list price with 1.25% being a good deal. But spending your weekend at the dealer to get there is frustrating. Here we go again.....

A lot can be done on line or by phone. Do your homework from your desk and save a lot of time. Resist the demand for you to come to the dealer. Only go to test drive and to sign the final paperwork.

Just like I do for commercial real estate, there are Professional Brokers for this. They save us Time and Money…and like me, are Paid by the Other side.

Win Win Win. 😃

Sounds like there are options. If you figure out your hourly, perhaps the time haggling isn't worth it in the long run. Glad I don't have to deal with a car any more.
