Snow, Lots of Snow
I know I had it easy -- I had absolutely no responsibility for shoveling, I was able to work remotely, I did not have to worry about walking a dog and my house was toasty warm all day. I know others were not as lucky as me.
But with that disclaimer, this snow was beautiful. I really don't remember the last time our neighborhood was under such a pristine blanket of white -- almost two feet of it. I was fascinated by how the snow chose to fall -- or better said blow -- into neat piles, leaving stairs without a trace of snow and other walkways covered. The family next door had a blast all afternoon rolling around their back yard. I enjoyed the kids giggles.
All of that said, I am hoping not to have another run at this much snow. I'm just not sure my luck will hold out.
And when does spring arrive??

I don't miss the cleanup, but it sure is beautiful to look at when it is fresh.
