Need a home

Mitch, my owner, has let me post this blog.

I am in need of a new home. The town of Sea Cliff left me a note saying I was way too big for the garbage men that emptied me for the past year and half. They said they would fine Mitch if he didn't replace me with a 32 gallon can. What's up with that?!? I'm big and tough and will last for years...those small 32's are wimpy. All of a sudden I'm too big and heavy? Why now? I like Mitch. He's a nice guy and always took care of me.

I've got a lot of life left so if you, or anybody you know, would like me to be your garbage can, please contact Mitch since I don't have a phone or email.

It isn't you, it's them. Don't worry, Gotham will find a home for a garbage can as big and strong as you.

Riva, I'm 52 gallon sized made out of the toughest thick plastic you can find.

Thanks Liz...I hope so

Fred, don't think Bloomberg had anything to do with it

We have those "cans" for recycling. I bring home all the paper waste from the office and often need to use the neighbor's recycling bin for overflow. It helps the city cut down on garbage disposal costs as well as get rebates for higher levels of recycling. We are very low now on volume for non-recyclables.
