I used to watch the Oscars with my mom. I miss you tonight mom!

I agree with Gideon that tonight's Oscars will be interesting all around. Even though the Oscar is celebrating its 90th year, this milestone has been overshadowed by other things getting the spotlight.

My opinion only: Three Billboards - a very overrated movie full of stereotypical characters and very contrived scenes. Get Out brilliant - especially the ending. Call Me By Your Name touching story with a stand out monolog given by the father (who should have been nominated) towards the end of the film...Most imaginative & beautifully filmed is The Shape of Water, which is my choice...As for who will win - it's still a horse race, which will make for (I hope) an interesting night.

Three Billboards edges out Get Out for Best Picture and Frances McDormand gets Best Actress.

Should be a very interesting evening all around.
