We have recieved many responses from people interested in putting together a Gotham Ski Club. In initial discussions with group travel agents, we believe that we are approaching a number that will afford us some nice group discounts in airfare, hotels and lift tickets. We are going to have a meeting next Thursday, October 9, 2003 at 5:00 pm at the Gotham Lounge (also known as Fred Klein's office), 485 Madison Avenue, for anyone interested in discussing our group. We will talk about Ski Club membership (to Gotham members and non-members), cost, a trip for this winter (east or west?), and Anthony Orlando will be giving a talk on what colors are going to be hot this year. Everyone who is or might be interested should come, whether you are a beginner or an expert skier, or even if you just like to have hot chocolate while everyone else is outside freezing. This is going to become Gotham's second best activity. Don't miss it. If you plan to come, RSVP to me by e-mail, so I can tell Fred how many donuts to order.
