Continuing on our mission to stay true to
Gotham's Stand Against Racism,
please join us on our continuing journey of honest self reflection. As we said in our statement, Gotham strives to provide a forum for education, engagement, enlightenment, and greater inclusion.
Our Book Club discussion was so vibrant that we wanted to continue the conversation but have decided to explore a different medium. This time, we are all going to watch Imitation of Life (1959), an award winning film and a study of race, class and gender. (It is available to stream on Amazon.)
We hope that you can join us on November 2 from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm for a Zoom conversation moderated by our own Book Club Chair, Julie Klein and longtime Gotham member Melissa Cisco.
Let’s continue to learn together!
Please RSVP to Steve Scully at stephen.scully@racsny.com and Steve will send you the Zoom link.
