Along the way, we have all picked up a few pointers around how to do this thing we call networking.  I am sure some resonate with you more than others, as they do with me.

As I think about this question for myself, the best tip I ever heard (or at least in the top five), was not to “prejudge the sale”.  Sometimes the best connections come from the most surprising places. 

So now, the best networking tip for me is – look both ways and keep your eyes and ears open for opportunities to help someone else. And in the end, what goes around comes around.
