As I'm sure most of you, especially those over 50, can attest to, technology is changing at an incredible rate. I am not one of those who complains about it, I thrive on it. When I was growing up, part of the time we had a "party line," now I can "facetime" with a friend in a village without electricity or running water in Tanzania. The fact that we are all more connected is a great gift.
So how do you keep up with the learning curve, its okay to ask children or even grandchildren how to do a certain "thing," but what about for your business?
Saturday I went to Secaucus (!!) and took a 3 hour, $97 course with a great business mentor of mine ( http://www.carriewilkerson.com ) whom I first met on Twitter nine years ago. It was so inspiring about all the opportunity we have right in front of us to grow our businesses (and our LIVES). This morning (Tues 5/22), I went to a FREE Facebook Ads training at NYU, once again so much right under my nose that can help me.
I am slowly curing myself of "Dorothy Gale" syndrome.
It IS all right in my own backyard. And I don't even have yard...
"...if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own backyard. Because if it isn't there, I never really lost it to begin with." - Dorothy, Wizard of Oz, 1939
