When I woke up this morning, I was looking at the clock thinking about the day and what must be done before I visit my Mom.
As I write this, I'm reminded that time governs our routines. Deadlines at work, creating this blog, appointments, and even just hanging out are all ruled by the clock. I sometimes race against it, hoping to fit as much in it as I can, but it often feels like there’s never enough of it. Yet, time is the one thing we can never outrun. It’s always there, moving forward, even when we’re standing still. The true, or some say the only, constant in our universe.
In many ways, how we manage our time defines who we are. Do we let it slip away, lost in distractions and procrastination? Or do we value it, understanding that it’s the most precious resource we have? Time is the only resource we cannot buy.
Ooo, I have to go now. I need to buy doughnuts for my Mom.
