Philadelphia has been very good to me, both professionally and personally. It's a city of firsts. The birth place of Liberty. The first zoo. The first hospital, the first medical school.

Philadelphia provided my first big job opportunity; complete with the corner office on the third floor of The Mellon Bank building. Many fabulous experiences with its arts and culture, deep historical tours and tradition of Di Bruno Brothers chicken parmesan and Tiffany's Bakery treats. Never did I imagine I'd marry a proper Philadelphia man, but Philadelphia showered me with the man of my dreams.The City of Brotherly love has afforded more opportunity than any other city in the Northeast.

How do you know Philadelphia?

Philly Cheesesteaks, wit cheese? Horrible football fans that actually punch Santa Clause? When the Eagles won the Superbowl, the police greased the streetlamps so the fans wouldn't climb the poles. They STILL climbed the poles! Don't even get me started on "Gritty". Yeah, yeah, yeah...Philly has grit. I like grit. Courage and resolve;strength of character. Backbone, fortitude and moral fiber. Kinda like being a redhead.

William Penn rightfully named the city "Philadelphia", Greek for brotherly love. (Philos "love" adelphos "brother")
