Batten down the hatches! It's going to snow!
Here comes the Nor'easter of 2017. Supermarket shelves are empty. Every loaf of bread in the neighborhood is gone. Forget about a container of milk. Those were gone by Sunday.
As for me, no panic or apprehension. I am kind of looking forward to the storm. We knew that schools were closed by about four yesterday afternoon. With the LIRR already talking about delays and suspensions, I knew I was staying home. Bill had the snow blower filled up and ready to blow. And I have plenty of bread and milk.
So we are all settled in with a snow storm ahead. I think we will have meatloaf for dinner. It’s a comfort food kind of day.
For those of you facing this same storm, how are you spending the day?
