May is dream time for NBA and NHL fans. It seems that every night features intense games that really matter. The regular season games often feel like routine exercises. But, in the playoffs, the players bring their hearts and souls to every game.
The best of seven games series are wars of strategy and attrition. Coaches and players must figure out new ways to maximize their strengths and and compensate for their injuries game to game.
The surprises and upsets lead to roller coasters of emotion. For New York City fans watching the Nets lose and the Rangers on the brink of elimination has been disappointing. But, other stories and the dreams of underdogs will capture my interest into the June Finals.
And, then it will be Baseball 100%. As the Yankees and Mets continue playing well and roll into the playoffs in October. Will there be “True Baseball Heaven” in NYC this fall?
