I am very excited, indeed grateful, that Election Day is here. I am a great supporter of every citizen’s right and obligation to vote. But that is not what prompts today’s reaction. I am looking forward to Election Day so that the robocalls will stop.

Really, 10 calls a day, sometimes more. Last night alone I received 10 calls within 10 minutes. That’s just not right. When did I lose my right to a peaceful dinner without being disturbed by pre-recorded messages maligning candidates? There isn’t even a live person at the other end at whom I can vent my frustration.

Anyway, happy Election Day everyone. Let’s all celebrate some quiet phone time to come!
