Its that time of year again. Typically on New Years or in the days (maybe weeks) to follow you give yourself a New Years Resolution. Many people decide they are going to start to go to the gym again and for the month of January the gym's are packed, then in February less and March less again. Last year I gave myself a New Years resolution and for the 2023 year I stuck to it 90 % of the time. I decided to give up soda. I now drink 10 times more water, almost always water at lunch and dinner. If not water I treat myself to the sugary ice teas (Snapple or Arnold Palmer) The only times I have had soda is during social events. Since I do not drink alcohol I typically have a soda, you might have noticed at the Gotham holiday party. I feel a few pounds leaner for sure, I'm still trying to figure out something for 2024.
