Throughout last month, Shelly and I had talked of getting our deck, aka my Outside Office, ready. Before deploying the furniture, the first step involves a good power-washing of the deck, its railing and the patio below. It also involves cleaning the table and chair, covered by tarp for the last several months. This year, my loving wife handled all the arrangements. Shelly contacted our go to painting (& more) contractor and to my surprise while I attended a press conference in Chinatown and lunch with some fellow participants Thursday, Roberto not only stopped in to discuss the next inside work but with a worker power-washed the deck and deck furniture. Shelly texted me the update so I knew what to look forward to upon my return to Bellerose. That eve I deployed the external monitor and the power hub connections. The next eve before sitting down to dinner, I put out the cushions for the chairs and covered each. I told Shelly yesterday, I’ll be ready to use it today; she says the rain might get in the way; I countered well there’s an umbrella....

Just glad it’s open for business.
