Want to be more productive?
Take a nap!
From the Daily Mirror:
"If you've ever suffered from a post-lunch lull, the workplace of the future might be just your thing - as nap rooms will feature in the office landscape.
The idea of a place just for a snooze during the working day has been floated by Arianna Huffington, businesswoman and journalist.
She says that the productivity of those who are well-rested makes the idea of a sleepy space a no-brainer - and has even launched a book on the subject.
The editor-in-chief of Huffington Post Media Group says that in the next two years, nap areas will be “as common as conference rooms”.
She believes, "having a nap in the middle of the afternoon is actually a performance-enhancing tool."
And for those who question the wisdom of workplace snores, Google, Zappos and Ben and Jerry’s are three successful companies which already offer their staff the space for some shuteye, reports the Huffington Post."
I wish I could write more about this, but I'm just getting ready to...ZZzzzzz
"From the moment we’re born until the moment we die, we’re in an inextricable relationship with sleep," she says.
"Even so, the delusion persists that we can do our jobs just as well on four or five or six hours of sleep as we can on seven or eight." - Arianna Huffington
