Everyone knows I like to take in a good show. Last’s week commentary certainly made that point. So what better way for this commentator to celebrate this day with family than at a concert. So following an amazing concert – Sir Paul McCartney at MetLife Stadium Thursday night (Did you know the Boss joined in for two songs? – see the set list), my wife and daughter will take me to the City Winery for “The Music of Paul McCartney” – an 80th Birthday Celebration featuring The Fab Faux with guest appearances by Martha Redbone, The Kennedys, Nicki Richards, Jim Boggia, Jeff Kazee and John Conte. And the music will continue into the week with a 50^th Anniversary concert by The Doobies Brothers including Patrick Simmons, John McFee, Tom Johnston and Michael McDonald at Jones Beach Tuesday and back at the winery where Poco co-founder Jim Messina headlines. What a way to celebrate Father’s Day extended!
